Home Faith Formation Resources

A multigenerational family eating lunch.

Home is the most powerful place faith formation happens, and family relationships (however you define them) are the most influential relationships in forming faith.

Individuals might spend one to three hours at various congregational events (worship, education time, choir, etc.), but they will probably spend several times that at home.

A congregation’s responsibility, at least in part, is to provide individuals and families with the training and resources they need to promote Christian faith formation at home.

Note: Two home-based, intergenerational products, Living the Word: God’s Word @ Home (RCL) and Living the Word: God’s Word @ Home (NL) have been discontinued for the 2022-2023 program year as they were created as an immediate response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic has continued, the need for these products, quite popular in 2020-2021, has lessened. The 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 products will remain available for purchase. We will consider continuing this series if there is sufficient interest. To communicate your interest, please let us know on our contact form.

Cross+Gen Ministry Products
