Teaching Kids the Heart of Worship

Teach your students how to worship God through this innovative Christian education curriculum!  This digital curriculum guides students through the meaning and importance of worship, the liturgy, and the church year, using fun skits, Bible studies, and challenging activities. The lessons center on a weekly series of reader’s theater-style skits. In the Liturgy lessons,  our characters participate in a liturgical worship service, figuring out the meaning of the language we use in worship.  In the Church Festival lessons, these same characters piece together the meaning of each festival day and how we celebrate it.

The Full Year includes all four units (Liturgy, Festivals, Advent, and Christmas Program), but each can be purchased separately.

• The words and themes of worship differ between Christian denominations, or even between individual congregations. Unlike our Living the Word series which aims to be theologically neutral, the Spirit & Truth curricula do come from a Lutheran (ELCA) perspective. This is most notable in the liturgy used in our Spirit & Truth: Kids (3^rd-6^th) liturgy skits, as it is the liturgy found in the ELCA’s Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW).

This curriculum is fantastic!! It is very well laid out, and easy to follow. The kids are enjoying it so much. I know the older kids really like doing the skits and acting things out. You really hit the nail on the head with those methods of teaching. We are very excited to start working with the Christmas program. Our kids are really going to love that they get to choose the songs and act things out as well. Thank you, thank you for creating such wonderful curriculum!
