August Sale & Extended Exchange Policy

Things are crazy right now (what an understatement!) as the program year is approaching, but we can help! We have a new, flexible exchange policy, options for in-person and online confirmation, home-based family curricula, and products for the Revised Common and Narrative Lectionaries.

NEW Extended Exchange Policy

With all the uncertainty everyone is facing this year, we at Spirit & Truth Publishing want to help. So, we are implementing a NEW exchange policy (for 2021-2022 Living the Word products only). It’s not that complicated but is a bit tricky to explain, so please bear with me. The basic principle is:

You can “trade in” lessons you haven’t used and exchange them for lessons you want. You only pay for what you have used and will use.

This exchange policy will be in effect from August 16, 2021, to June 5, 2022 (this whole program year).

A couple of examples are helpful.

  • You order our in-person, Cross+Gen Education (RCL) curriculum for the full year (37 lessons) for $225.00 (about $6.00 per lesson). After 5 weeks, your church must go virtual. So, you have used $30.00 (five lessons) but won’t use $195.00 (thirty-two lessons) of your original purchase. So, you get a store credit of $195.00 that you want to use toward a purchase of the remaining 32 lessons of our home-based family curriculum (maybe worth $260.00).
  • OR, you planned on home-based learning but things have improved enough to come together in person after 8 weeks. You had purchased the full year (37 lessons) of our home-based curriculum for $300.00 ($8.12 per lesson). The 8 weeks you have used is worth $65.00. You could get the remaining $235.00 as store credit that you can use toward the purchase of the in-person Cross+Gen Education product (or other product).

Some notes: This doesn’t negate our normal 30-day refund policy. After 30 days, you will receive store credit that will last for one year. If the new product costs more than your store credit, then you will need to pay the difference. If it costs less, you will have the difference as store credit. We have a webpage with specific Exchange Rules.

Chosen Together: Cross+Gen Confirmation

Chosen Together is an intergenerational confirmation program teaching about the Christian life through the Ten Commandments, Lord’s Prayer, Apostles’ Creed, and Sacraments. How is it intergenerational? It involves the entire family, conversations with church members, and recommends the use of adult mentors (parents or non-parents).

Chosen Together was originally designed for use in-person and online (for busy schedules), but last year we added an optional subscription for a safe, distraction-free, online meeting space (think Facebook Groups without the problems of Facebook).
